Here we present a selection of highlights from the exhibition:
The oldest artefact in the exhibition is a stone mace head dating from between 2,700 and 2,200 BC. And although it is undoubtedly a deadly weapon, its destructive power pales in comparison to that of modern weapons.
One example of this is the ultimate limit of any supposedly secure place – for no armour and no fortress can withstand a Mk53 hydrogen bomb.
